Canada needs $15 minimum wage

No one working full-time should be living in poverty. But right now, minimum wages aren’t keeping up with the cost of living.

According to the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives, low-income workers can’t afford rent in 91% of cities across Canada. Many minimum wage workers give up food, heat, and prescriptions to afford to live.

Canada’s unions know we can do better – and we believe the government can start by raising the federal minimum wage to $15/hour.

It’s time for $15 federal minimum wage. Sign if you agree.
